2023-24 Online Registration is Now Open

Online registration for the 2023-24 Mequon Chess Club season is now open! The club this year will meet only on Mondays at Range Line starting Oct. 2 to March 11 for a total of 14 sessions (subject to change). Space is limited to 14 students for Varsity and 12 for JV. We expect registrations to fill up quickly, so don’t delay! Jason Flanders has moved away and retired, but new this year, Ryan Murphy of IA-Chess will be taking over the primary coaching responsibilities. The Walsh family (Claire, Terry, Grant and Cooper), Jodi and Steve will again be providing support behind the scenes. Maddie is off at NYU, but will be back for the January sessions.

IMPORANT NOTE: All sessions will be on Mondays, with the JV club meeting first from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and then the Varsity club from 6:35 until 8:00 pm.

Please be sure to review the updated COVID Health Plan which was approved by the MTSD and we are choosing to keep in place for another season. Important highlights:

Parents will not be permitted in the building.
Face coverings are OPTIONAL.
If your child is sick or has any symptoms, please do not bring them to Chess Club.
