Two Participated in St. John the Baptist, Another Two in Wisconsin Junior Open

This past weekend, Steven Yang and David Gunn participated in the St. John the Baptist chess tourney, while Nishanth Siva and Chloe Wong played in the Wisconsin Junior Open in Oshkosh. Both Steven and David decided to play up in the K12 division. Despite playing against older kids, Steven came away with a 5th place trophy (4 pts) while David placed 6th (3.5 pts).

In the Wisconsin Junior Open, a two day event, Nishanth won the 2nd place trophy in his class (U600) with 3 pts out of 5, while Chloe won the 1st place overall in the All Girls section with 4 pts out of 5.
